Don’t look for me over there anymore.

For I am Here now.

I  thought back there, around the corner would be fun, but it just led to heartache.

I thought that last year would be “my” year.  A time and place of unbridled joy

and awakening, but alas I was wrong once more.

No.  I am Here now.  Someplace I never thought I would be.  Someplace I never even dreamed of.

The dream and siren call of “there” is distant now.

No.  Don’t look for me over there anymore.  For I am Here now.

And I have never been happier, now, than in all my life.
